- A very insightful article, I couldn't of said any better myself...
Seriously, it's basically the same article we had a few days ago but with screenshots. The only time we do have good articles here is when we copy off slashdot headlines :-P But then, that's just me, I'm a moron, back to your daily business everyone.

- More screenshots will come, as will leaks, etc.
Here is a mirror to the shots anyhow:

Btw, does anyone know who tide534.microsoft.com is? They visited my website!

- I figured that but... Does this mean they are pissed at people hosting screenshots? They found my site from another site hosting screenshots that linked to mine as a mirror...

- I hate to say it, and I am NOT a Mac fanboy by any strecth of the imagination (although I do own a Mac and a PC), but pieces of the interface (idea wise) are taken from Finder (how file paths are shown or the explorer search pane for instance). I have no problem with this as it just makes Windows more usable; I'm just stating an observation. Anyone who replies to this in a negative way doesn't understand what I just said.

- Taken from the Finder deliberately?
Or . . . a coincidental, natural evolution of the interface?
This isn't a negative comment, I'm just exploring another possibility. -

- It's obviously an evolution of the interface, the problem is when Microsoft sees it in OS X and can't come up with a creative way to introduce it in their system because they have a sort of writers block (all they can think of what they saw). It happens to me all the time.

I learned a lot about beta 1 details from that one that I didn't know before.

QUOTE Control Panel has been significantly updated with a new look and feel, though it retains the category-based organizational scheme (Figure) that Microsoft pioneered in XP (and Apple borrowed in Mac OS X 10.3, see my review)
Just stating an observation....source

Evasive as usual eh?
Do you rely on Ad Hominems so much because you can't come up with a real defense?
