Dude, will you shut up already? You like Apple, we get it, now kindly butt out of that which you have no understanding of. Go stare at your Steve Jobs avatar and stop posting dumb jibberish.

Enough with the trolling and arguing. Stay on topic please

I was making a comment not starting a war.
If no-one is allowed to express their different opinions whats the point on having a comment section? So everyone can comment with something along the lines of "oh. Yay" in every news post?
I was merely saying how Bill Gates is really boring on stage, and that in my eyes is pretty on topic seeing as the news post is about Bill Gate's Keynote.

You can say that Bill Gates is boring on stage, but you don't need to say how much better Steve Jobs did it

Why can't he say that steve jobs is better, when he clearly is. I am no apple monkey I can assure you, but I have no problem in giving credit where it's due. Why does it matter to you who is the most interesting at public speaking. Comparing Gates to Jobs in this instance is a perfectly vaild point to make.

You guys have issues. To say one is better than the other is frankly irrelevant. Your comments remind me of my six year old on the playground in a bragging fight about whose dad is stronger. Mr. Gates isn’t the richest man on the planet by chance. Steve Jobs is not the CEO of apple by chance. To each his own I say. Personal opinions on these threads certainly are comical.

Now on to the topic. It’s too bad they don’t show the real good stuff. I guess that’s for a good reason. So many copycats on a lower user and hardware base these days. I like the robust application possibilities the new platform provides. The gimmicky like effects are ok, much nicer and cleaner than “other” OSs offer. That’s clear. XML integrated into the core of all documents is the key. The added taskbar features are so very cool and useful. I so glad MS didn’t hack the perfect dock…umm I mean taskbar. Integrating the search features will be nice, instead of the msn app sitting on top of the OS. Stacking feature is sweet.

Hey – if I was able to get my hands on the latest beta build, does anyone know if I can run it with MS Virtual PC? (That would be nice)

Is it in Los Angeles or Seattle?

Microsoft Max is...impressive...to put it mildly. The way things move inside of it, the way the images sort themselves when things are selected...reminds me of attention to detail that Apple puts into their software...but taken to a whole new level. I'm quite frankly shocked. I really never expected Microsoft to come out with something this slick.

And this is beta software? I don't have the words.
