Microsoft, the worlds largest software company is about to turn 30 years old today.

Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates and Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer will congratulate employees for their contributions to date at a lavish annual Company Meeting Today at Safeco Field in Seattle.

It's expected that as many as 16,000 out of the 60,000 strong workforce will be celebrating the historic date and the company's memorable history.

From all the staff at Neowin I'd like to take the opportunity to thank Microsoft for their contribution to the software industry and to wish the company as a whole good luck in the future. Party on :)
