Google have opened up the library doors to their beta “Google Print” service. Whilst questions still remain as to how Google will tackle the topic of copyrighted material it seems as though they have at least started scanning books in, with Government papers and American Civil War books being the first to be entered into the system.
Google unveiled Google Print over a year ago now, but ran into legal problems, they are hoping to quickly expand the service using some of the main US Universities. The main aim is to start uploading books that have stopped being printed or are not copyrighted, then it is up to Google what other areas they explore.

What do you think about Google Print? Is it a service that you will consider using a regular basis? Post what your comments below.

I'm not sure how often I'll use it, still need to get used to it a bit. But it'll most likely change anyway .. They'll get sued and stuff.
UPDATE: WEBSITE SEEMS TO BE BROKEN I GET The requested URL /sorry/?continue=http://print.google.com/ was not found on this server.
(Works fine for me)
If I can find more through a improved search, I think the problem does not focus on Google but those universities as well.
