The MSN Beta team is currently recruiting likely candidates to test an array of new services and products from the Windows Live family.

Successful applicants may be asked to test MSN Messenger 8 (Windows Live Messenger) or future versions of Messenger. The countries range from Afghanistan to Turkey so everyone will be able to get involved.

If you're interested in becoming an MSN Beta tester then follow the link below for the codes and sign up at Microsoft's connect community.

Good luck :)

No it's not, the list is way more comprehensive now....
#1.2 Edgemaster on 22 Nov 2005 - 00:04
Hey, all I need is the UK one! That's been around for ages.
#1.3 DarKnight on 22 Nov 2005 - 00:25
There's always one person who has to say somethings old. Well, even if it is, it's still new to someone!
#1.4 divertom15 on 22 Nov 2005 - 00:40
its old by age of content not by familiarity to the user. when someone says "this is old" its not because he saw it a week or month ago. its because he knows the content is aged significantly from the date on which it was unvieled to the world. It matters not when the person posting "this is old' had seen it.

Thats not fair, I want to try beta testing Windows Live Messenger, but im 14 and you have to be 16. Thats not fair
#4.1 phire_nuk3r on 22 Nov 2005 - 02:53
It's not fair, i'm 16 but now it wants me to be 18.
#4.2 Syphonic on 22 Nov 2005 - 08:47
Newsflash: They have no way of checking your real age

If you are so desperate, lie. Pick a date in 1987 and they'll think you're 18.
#4.3 phire_nuk3r on 22 Nov 2005 - 18:58
I tried to change my age, but it said "you have already indicated that you age is below 18, if this is incorrect click here" and it send me back to the page but lost all my infomation. So I gave up.

Why do we get
"The invitation code you entered is invalid, assigned to another person, or else the program is no longer accepting invitations."?
#6 BrandonJG on 22 Nov 2005 - 00:00
can these codes be used more than once or are they going to see that a whole bunch of people are using the same invite code and disqualify all of them?
#7 Inertia on 22 Nov 2005 - 00:02
I am already enrolled, since october, not heard a thing yet though. fingers x`d
#8 ninjamunky on 22 Nov 2005 - 00:32

#9 Troll on 22 Nov 2005 - 00:43
Thanks!
#10 maulia on 22 Nov 2005 - 00:48
It is NEW for me. And I think we should stop saying that it's old news, etc.. unless you think you can do better than the newsposter/or the admin!

No news ---- complaints..
news --- complaints..
that's the nature of human beings, I guess

#21 Migrosoft on 22 Nov 2005 - 09:38
Isn't there a code for Swiss French ?
#22 dave164 on 22 Nov 2005 - 12:37
Saying that im already in the participation for the invite codes, so im guessing the old surveys we did for this months ago are still valid.
#23 jean-christophe on 22 Nov 2005 - 17:26
Hi,

Let say i received a mail that clearly said: welcome to the live mail beta, click join to start using live mail and squash bugs. But when i am clicked i am told that i am not over 13, have parental control enabled or that my country isn't beta enabled yet. All of three wrong of course.

Who can i mail to find a solution?
#24 ZeroHertz on 22 Nov 2005 - 18:40
They have a Thailand invite code, but it's not on the country list.
#25 Bhav on 22 Nov 2005 - 20:40

Ah......!

"
Welcome to the MSN Beta Program!

Thanks for signing up. We understand how excited you are to get started, and we want to get going, too. We’re working as fast as we can to figure out the best way for us to get your feedback. We know the waiting is the hardest part, but soon we’ll be sending you an invitation for a specific Windows Live beta—and that will make the wait worthwhile.

"

Not long now before I'm also a msn beta tester (along with already being office 12 tester)
#30.1 Hot_Shot_NN on 23 Nov 2005 - 21:41
Yep, got an email with the same content as well!

Does it mean anything? Can I go with the "Beta Tester" T-Shirt now?
#30.2 Laser_iCE on 25 Nov 2005 - 11:31
I received this email while I was holidays. Needless to say, I was excited to find out that I'd been accepted (considering I forgot that I had even applied), but any idea on how long we'll need to wait?
#31 Kirjava on 28 Nov 2005 - 16:48
Might wanna remind you that if you read it again...
