After exploding thanks to browsers such as Mosaic and Netscape, up and coming companies such as Yahoo!, Amazon, and eBay, and the dot-com boom, the WWW has become an integral part of our everyday lives. We're seeing what amounts to a second boom era, with companies such as Google and Skype picking up where upstarts Yahoo! and Hotmail left off.
