This week on the show team discusses how some schools are trying to make sure students keep their blogging habits "appropriate". They also talk about Microsoft's new Urge, and Vista Beta 2 being released. They also bring us an update on the Sony rootkit settlement.

In gaming news, two states have two radically different laws and two reactions to them. A new study shows that surgeons who 'warm up' by playing video games actually perform better than those who don't. And finally, we discuss a Reno professor who is protesting the war in his own special way inside the game "America's Army".

Joel Hulsey has the week off this week, but the rest of us do our best to fill the gaps.

Anyone noticed how URGE slows down the launch of WMP11? Is ther anyway to turn it off?

Uninstall it in Add/Remove Programs and it will be gone!

I can understand the rant about college kids having inside information on Vista's development.

On the other hand, the comment about how everyone should have WindowBlinds. . seemed a little two commercialized for my taste. I've never had good experiences with WindowBlinds anyway, and the comment only served to remind me of that. It's unfortunate that the only legitimate product available does not work that well, and the only thing that does work well is a hack that regardless of how simplistic it is, could cause other issues.

When will we see a public Vista beta?

Also, when I try to install URGE it says that it is not available in my area, yet it works on my dad's computer in the other room. Ideas?

How would I do that? (I'm in America by the way, so no reason that it should be set to anything different...)
