According to the Windows Live Mail Support Team Blog, from the 20th of June 2006 onwards two new domains will be available for customers signing up for a Windows Live ID.
Both @live.com and @windowslive.com will be available to register when you sign up for a new account with Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Family Safety Settings, and www.live.com.
This will be welcome news for some, who believe the additions have been a long time coming.
