- That is great news, though honestly I was less than impressed with Office Live's offerings. It's a start at least. The price/user just isn't realistic once you go over the 10 users.

- I hated Office Live, but it got me a couple free domains at least... it's easy to take them away and use them with a different host.

- Later, Steve Balmer went manic and jumped around on a stage shouting "Give it up for me" and "I Love This Company!"
Officials declined to comment, saying only that Mr. Balmer was "Super Excited."

- This reads like one of those "Hey, come and look at what everyone else is looking at" PR statements, when in actual fact, you just know people are signing up out of interest, giving an initial "ooh" and "aah" and then forgetting that they even signed up for it.

This piece of crap doesn't work. I've been trying to get them to fix the email for months now. I can't even use it and all I get are excuses!!!

Microsoft is very pleased with the demand for the service and has plans to take it out of beta at the end of 2006. "We are super excited about the positive reaction and demand from our customers," said Baris Cetinok, director of product management and marketing for Office Live at Microsoft, in an interview with Ipwalk.
Ipwalk, which has tracked the growth of Office Live since the start of the beta in February, said that Microsoft had initially used a wait list to restrict the influx of new users, only sending out a limited amount of product keys every week. Another factor that had limited user numbers was that the Office Live beta was only available to US residents.
