- IMHO Zidan should not have got the golden ball,
insnt zidane a professional in his job? he should have ignored what ever remark that other player made to him.
or has be become the new eric cantonar, not a good example to set for younger viewers. -

- The vote was apparently made at half-time, before the incident, otherwise he wouldn't have got it.

That is not an excuse. Then they should have issued a statement removing Zidane from best player, and giving it to the second most voted.
But they didn't... because, of the four biggest men in FIFA, three of them are french. -

- Zidane is innocent.
I think he lost his concentration in soccer. Maybe his choice in his acting career got him confused.
He should have taken some other part from X-Men3. His role as Juggernaut is haunting him. -

- If you are sick of it and don't like it, please cover your eyes, ears, and mouth. Just because you don't like it, it doesn't mean you don't allow people to talk about it. Ruin it for all.
World Cup is only happen in every 4 years. We have a right to enjoy it!

The BBC received over 3.4 million visitors during the competition which came to a close on Sunday, with Italy reigning victorious over France only via a penalty shoot-out. Not only was the BBC Sport website the hub for statistics, information and highlights but the world's largest public-service broadcaster also streamed matches live, online, for the first time ever.
The BBC's coverage was so successful it proved to be three-times more popular than the official website, FIFA.com.
The first World Cup of the true broadband era, Germany 2006 had a heavy web presence with blogs, live match streams and gambling websites proving amongst the most popular sites.
European internet analyst Alex Burmaster said: "The 2006 FIFA World Cup will go down as an extraordinary success online, the websites have provided a wonderful array of more interactive and engaging content than ever before."
