It should be no surprise that at its default settings the value-minded NVIDIA GeForce 7300GT is very slow. What is indeed surprising however, is the potential performance that can be untapped after overclocking. We have seen a 475MHz core/900MHz memory 7300GTs outperforming a GeForce 7600GS with ease, and it doesn't stop there.

Running two SLI capable 7300GTs one besides the other, performance can be almost doubled surpassing that of a single GeForce 7600GT. Read on as we examine in detail the performance of two GeForce 7300GT cards coupled together, and what this means to the gamer on a budget.

Nice, very nice.

Nice time for the article to appear, I'm pricing parts for a computer upgrade and have been looking at the 7300GT and 7600GS, this helps the decision.

Wow. That is quite amazing. I never realised how powerful the 7300GT was! I have looked up reviews for other 7300GT "GDDR3" models and found an Inno3D (yes, they aren't exactly great) model that can do 820MHz with a simple pencil-drawn voltmod and run stable on the big ThermalRight VGA cooler (with a Delta fan). That is incredible. It is on some Malaysian overclocking site, BTW.

Wow, that thing compares with my 6800GS! Still like to have only 1 card though.
