Dear WS03 SP2 Beta Tester,
Beginning in August 2006, Windows Serviceability will release monthly critical security updates for the Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 beta. We will send notifications on the availability of the updates via the Connect Site once they are available. New updates are available now in the Downloads section, please make sure you download and install all updates available to maintain a high level of security.

Will this include a service pack for XP x64 (which uses the 2003 core )

yes, the sp2 beta is for server 2003 x86 x64 ia64 AND xp x64.

superhuman: Considering that this is on Microsoft Connect, there are System Administrators who want to beta test this for Microsoft on there test hardware, like me.

No sane person would put this on their production servers.

I have been running SP2 on a clone of our Data server and it is working completely stable.

is this also going to be a service pack update for XP Pro x64?

most programs recognize Pro x64 as Server 2003
