Details of Microsoft's Zune digital music player have leaked out overnight to a variety of websites hot on the heels of EMI's announcement it will supply music and video content for the software giant to pre-install on the player.

A number of websites - most notably Gizmodo and iLounge were sent blurry pics first of the now-familiar dark-coloured player and, second, of its UI. The latter's really to fuzzy to make out anything useful beyond the facts that it's reverse-video and looks a bit like the iPod's UI.

Gods, how plain and unoriginal. The wheel seems to be like the Walkman NWA series. And isn't it Creative's UI? :p

The screen looks a lot larger than my iPod's.

the picture looks fake to me. Notice there are strange black square on the screen. The UI is a completely hoax.

Even an amateur can say it is not iPod killer. I am pretty sure M$ knows that. We just have to wait and see.
