Are they sticking to the previously mentioned news post where people would need to pay to get a copy of the next beta? Even at a small cost it would be a huge inconvinience seeing as I dont have a credit card of my own. If I could i'd probably pay a small fee to use it although I dont know if that information applied to people currently using the beta or only those who were beginning at the next release. I'd like to think not, I do like the new office and while not being a beta tester myself for this product I have made a habbit of ensuring I send along all the error logs, not a big deal but hell its something (I did try to get on the beta).

Anyway I'm sure they did annouce that or have I mixed something up.

I head that those who had downloaded beta2 for free, would get the TR for free to. But the other day I almost downloaded the beta2 again until I realized I had to pay... then I found it in my harddrive. I just don't know what their database will think now

Great cause outlook works well except it takes like 10 mins to download like 50 small emails

Hope this fixes that.

Second week of school, good enough for me

@Nick: That really shouldn't be happening in Beta 2. In terms of downloading mail, it seems as fast as OL2003. It's in rendering the mail that it's like honey.

Also, note that B2TR is going to be a *patch* upgrade to B2, not a standalone release (you need to have B2 installed). It will be free.

I was told previously by a couple of people - one on a usenet, the other is a tester I know - that the TR will NOT be available to those of us that downloaded it but are not officially beta testers for MS.

Of course, I hope they are proven wrong. Like hardgiant, here's to hoping for a public release...
