I still use Fedora Core as my primary OS and Windows just in Paralles emulation..

Who cares if you use Fedora Core...this is about vista....

I really do NOT give a crap what you use as your primary OS. Are you cool because you use Fedora? This is about Vista RC1, not Fedora.
In a Vista RC1 post .. oh nooooo i can see your point. not.
Linux geeks should shut up for a sec. All the Vista geeks are currently wanking themselves.
Hoping to see it soon on MSDN

Well, I would run x64 if it was possible to disable the integritycheck (which it currently isn't in RC1). Having to press F8 and select an option on the bootscreen every bloody time I start/restart the computer is a nuisance beyond words... Damn, it's like a daycare OS with that enforced and can-not-disable integritycheck. Thanks hollywood, you keep restricting what we can do with our own computers.
(yes, Hollywood is the reason so nobody can use 3rd party/hacked drivers to watch movies while bypassing their HDCP/DRM-crap)
What is this code 43 problem? Haven't seen it on mine...
Finally some action
Still looking forward to trying this build out. Might even dare putting it on my pc proper instead of XP so that by the time RTM comes out, i'm fairly familiar with Vista..
hopefully we get a new key, instead of using the beta 2 one.
I love downloading ISOs at work

sweet damn...what kinda pipe does your work have?
I'm a beta tester, I didn't get an email.

credit where credit is due.
Yeah you gotta view it in IE.
nice...
Release Candidate 1
Should be major-bug-free, no new features should be added to an RC, I think... (not sure)
even for a noob.

first hit first answer.
Have fun beta testing this bad boy out for me fellahs! I won't go near it until SP1 comes out in about a year
just kidding mate
Not according to Microsoft, and that's a bit confusing. As this one was released, Allchin says above it's not a candidate for release despite being a release candidate.
Confusing, and not the business standard use of the term, but that's Microsoft for ya.
read this as 5536 was 50% burned.
There goes a blank dvd. Meh...
I wasn't expecting it until monday.
No I just didn't have any at hand..
