A BROWSER which claims to allow increased web privacy, has been blasted as adware which cannot do what it says on the tin. Browzar promises punters that it will leave no trail as users have a poke around the interweb. However according to computer experts, not only doesn’t it work, but it also serves you up a ton of adverts.

Browzar is a free Internet Explorer shell and is currently in beta. The default home page, which cannot be changed is the Browzar search engine. When a user searches many of the results are for sponsored links or adverts from the ad serving outfit Overture.
