Thanks AnimaL for posting that The Vista.ru is reporting that a new build of Windows Vista RC1 has been released to a select number of testers.
This follows last weeks RC1 build 5728 release to testers, MSDN and the public. There is no further information on exactly who got the build, most likely TAP.

Of corse i'm "wrong" and thanks for elaborating. What I meant was most software makers would increment the RC # for each new build they release to testers. But thanks for taking the time and typing 6 characters.

I am, and I can tell you the company I work for does not incriment our "milestones" on each build. Nor do any of the partners we work with.
These aren't milestone releases. They're releases that are taking checked-in code (i.e. changed code), merging it, and doing a build (i.e. to binary)
No reason to incriment the milestone for that.
