A LOT of people inside ATI are super nervous. No one knows any solid details about who will stay and who will go. We cannot help these guys much, but we did learn that those allowed to stay will soon get a name.surname@amd.com email address.
This is likely to be the beginning of the end for the ATI brand, as we don’t believe that this one has many legs left. Brands such as Radeon are probably here to stay but, in a year or so, you might be looking at a AMD Radeon card not an ATI-branded one.
