ADS Tech's Instant Video To-Go converts video to MP4 for iPod and PSP five times faster than normal PC software. This USB key lets you reclaim the 5 hours it would have previously taken to convert your DVD's to handheld formats by doing it in just 20 minutes!

ADS Tech has today announced the UK launch of the Instant Video To-Go™, the industry's first hardware-based MP4 (H.264) conversion solution for PCs, that doesn't encroach on your computer's memory, and gives the process a much needed boost. The hardware accelerator incorporated in Instant Video To-Go enables users to convert DVD and any video to a smooth format for playback on Apple iPods®, Sony® PSPs and other portable video players including mobile phones, at up to five times faster than it would take to do the same conversion on a PC. Just think of what you can do with the extra time you'll have!

Featuring the superior quality encoding that has made ADS Tech's growing line of mobile player accessories so popular, ADS Tech's new video transfer accelerator provides the convenience of USB 2.0 connectivity in a small, compact device, and also saves hours of your precious spare time. For Example, with the compact memory stick style, Instant Video To-Go, a 100-min./2GB MPEG2 or VOB video file can be converted into high-quality (320x240), MP4 (H.264) video in approximately 20 minutes. The device will surely put a smile on the face of iPod Video and PSP users, as the same length video would normally require about 5 hours to convert with traditional software only encoding, that they would usually have to use.

A complete hardware/software solution, the Instant Video To-Go includes ArcSoft Media Converter™ 2 software, a simple two-step application that converts the most popular media formats. MP4, MP3, AVI, WMV, MOV, RM, JPG, and TIFF formats are supported as well as the Microsoft Media Transfer Protocol (MTP). The ADS Tech's video accelerator, coupled with ArcSoft Media Converter 2 ensures users are offered a fast, easy solution for converting, enjoying and sharing favourite videos, TV shows and sporting events any time, any where.

umm i did almost the same as WinAvi and only took me 10mins with out preview.

but still, this product would be great for those who dont have fast computers and cannot afford on upgrading expensive Video Card, Ram, CPU etc, good for notebook users aswell
