Hoping to steal some thunder from the latest high-end motherboard offerings from other manufacturers, Gigabyte has released the 965P-DS3P rev 2.0. In a nutshell, Gigabyte has corrected the flaws that have kept their previous Core 2 Duo boards from the top spots, and have also gone with an aggressive pricing strategy, allowing this sub-$200 motherboard to compete with more expensive models from ASUS and MSI.

I've had a few Gigabyte MBs in the past... I didn't care for them really. For me, I'll stick to ASUS or MSI. Had good luck with both of them.

Same here except I stick to Abit MBs.

It's a nice enough board specs wise, but the total lack of mosfet heatsinks and the lack of NB/SB heatpipes means it's not gonna perform well as an overclocking machine. ASUS makes a number of boards that are essential the same as this one but with better cooling.
