-sighs- Brutalized the locations to make it completely confusing to get to.. Baltimore is a city, Hagerstown, MD is a town thats nowhere NEAR Baltimore. So putting Baltimore: Circuit City, Hagerstown, MD is a joke, thank god I live in MD so I know what the difference is. Good game, Microsoft. >_>

Haha, pretty low expectations for the CEO of the world's largest software company
But I agree... One can't expect this guy to suddenly turn... completely sane.

Let's hope he brings high quality, preferrably black, shirts and don't forget the deodorant.

"Nothing to see people, just move along....nothing to see"

Honestly, I can see why MS is happy about launching there little one into the public but I think they should have invested this energy* into making the OS a little more lean in terms of getting performance out of single core machines etc... Too late now, I realize that but it doesn't stop me from opening my mouth and saying it.

*and with energy I was referring to time and money.

The reason, grasshopper, is that MS bet the farm on Vista and they're scared it's not going to pan out. Hence the full-court PR attack.

I went to one of Microsoft's Ready for a New Day launch events for Windows Vista, Office 2007, and Exchange Server 2007, the one in New York City on January 16th. Steve Ballmer made the keynote speech in the beginning, and I was only about 5 rows back from the stage, so he was less than 30 feet away. I have to say that it was definitely effective. He was totally professional, cool, and focused. Nothing crazy out of Ballmer that morning.

He mentioned how he would be coming back to New York in two weeks, this time for the retail launch. Should be interesting...

I'll be getting mine, but don't expect me to camp out. A free lifecam is good enough for me.
