Microsoft has made the first batch of updates for Vista available via the built-in Windows Update client. If you don't see the 22 updates, manually "Check for updates".

Link: Forum Discussion (Thanks Littleneutrino & TCLN Ryster)
Here's the breakdown:

Are you young? Same thing for sure happened with XP.
Amazing!
You do realise it's been out for two months don't you?
In other words, today is the day that all the suckers who don't know squat about OS get to line up to pay MS money for something based on marketing hype and flashy ads.
The rest of us have been playing with Vista for months, if not years.
lol
4 months and thats all we get ?!?
haha im joking
its good to see them trickle through - here to more coming in the next few weeks!

i played a wmd-hd T2 as my background and less than 5% cpu usage!! totally owns!! works smoothly with aero effects and win+tab -plays live too on background and window!
i did noticed my gpu temp increase-after 15mins- it seems the gpu does all the hard work and the cpu takes it easy
i also tried a *.ts hdtv file too- a 10gb 1080p video and that like 8-10% cpu..
£330 - Vista Ultimate Retail - This version allows 1 per computer, will reinstall and can be uninstalled and moved.
I think the costs outweigh the benifit, most of the new games coming out are either from EA, complete **** or don't require DX10.
Unreal 2007 is not based on DX10 so I think I'll stick with my PC.
Is Windows XP Pro x64 worth getting?
