Owners of Tivo's popular digital video recorders (DVR) will soon be able to download videos from "Amazon Unbox on Tivo", an extension of Amazon Unbox (launched in September 2006). Films will be priced at $9.99 and $14.99 for purchase and $1.99 for rental while television shows will sell for $1.99 each. Content is currently limited to three providers: CBS, Paramount Pictures, and Warner Bros. Entertainment. Currently 1.5 million Tivo owners meet the requirements for the service: a Series 2 or Series 3 DVR, an Amazon.com account, and a broadband connection. A record of all purchases will be kept both on the DVR and in the user's Amazon.com account.

Unless you can burn the DVD after downloading, those prices are too high.
