KezNews forum member Computer User, quickly infamous for releasing his Brute Force Keygen to the world, has confessed the piece of software isn’t all it was hyped up to be. "Fact is the brute force keygen is a joke, I never intended for it to work. I have never gotten it to work, everyone should stop using it!” This is quite a shocking statement for the simple reason that many have already reported that they have found keys which activate just fine. “Everyone who said they got a key a probably lying or mistaken!” Either the author of the program has decided he does not want to get in trouble, or he is genuinely telling the truth. In short, the generator does work, but it is a very impractical crack.

Exactly. If it wasn't working, they wouldn't waste their time to go after him, and we wouldn't have had to write that letter of excusing himself and then claiming it is fake.
Can't be long anymore until there's a keygen that works even better (I'd guess it will come from China).
When Dell and HP and others start offering some flavors of Linux, that's when you'll see Microsoft lose it's market share. Not saying that's going to happen, just saying IF it we're to happen...
it does work, it just needs patience.
please delete this topic, calling it a hoax was fake, its real, please delete!
He said it works, but anyone saying they got a key using it is more than likely lying because with the way it works, it would highly unlikely find it in 10 seconds or more than likely find one after a very long period of time. The people on the site where it originally came from are saying that it actually has a good use for finding bad keys and they could take those keys and put them in some kind of database and use it to figure out the algorithm or something to find the working keys. I think this might be why he's trying to stop it from spreading. He doesn't want to get in trouble.
Either he knew it could be used in a way to find bad keys or it's a complete accident on his part and now he's freaking out.
In the time it takes to find a valid key for Vista using it, the next version of Windows will be out most likely
You have to give credit to Microsoft for making it a lot harder for these people to make this stuff. Soo far there's no true Vista crack out yet. Even the BIOS one isn't a true crack unless you got a specific BIOS and if you're willing to run that and possibly screw your system just to activate Vista, you have no clue what you're doing with computers and shouldn't be allowed to touch one.
Look at the stuff that was available before XP was even out yet. Microsoft did a great job in making it more difficult to crack and I applaud them for doing that.
With a keygen, it's just making keys that fall in the range that then work, but with XP you weren't screwing other paying users of XP.
I know how people like to stick it to big companies and all that, but this is only going to turn around and hurt people who actually payed for Vista. Unless MS thought of this already and has worked something out.

There are currently (with this one) 3 working cracks available for Windows Vista. How can you say that there is "no true Vista crack out yet" when Vista is crackable 3 different ways? Sucking up to Microsoft will not get you anywhere...

I'm not sucking up to anyone. I went out and bought Vista. I'm not some idiot pirate kiddie like you sound like you are. Does it make you feel more like a man when you can run your mouth over the internet from behind the safety of your monitor?
The timerstop crack is a joke. You're better off just re-arming the trial after you use the full 120 days you can get out of it. It's also already been patched against by Microsoft twice I believe and will most liekly get patched against again and again.
The BIOS emulator has screwed a few systems. That's a fact. Go research it more before running your mouth off about it. It only works with certain systems. So it's not a true crack seeing how it will only work on certain systems. A true crack would work on any system.
You should really know what you're talking about before running your mouth off.
Keygena Hoaxdon't worry buddy... once Microsoft gets a hold of it and sees it does work.. you will be getting a knock on the door
Excuse me while I stop my head from spinning 'round.
