Adobe Systems’ long-awaited Creative Suite 3 has hit the shelves, adding the CS3 moniker to popular creative applications from both Adobe and the former Macromedia. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Contribute are all available as Universal applications for both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs and support both Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista. Web professionals can import native Photoshop and Illustrator files directly into Flash and Fireworks with full fidelity, which Adobe says is a first for its software. Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium, Design Standard, Web Premium, and Web Standard are immediately available to customers in North America at estimated street prices of $1799, $1199, $1599 and $999, respectively.

You pick one or the other....
Back in 2001, the Devil's Own Key had WinXP pirated 25 days before it was even released to consumers. Pirated copies are made extremely fast.
I'm absolutely positive.
I'm absolutely positive.
Actually, I had a look at the conversations at several of the torrent sites, and the general consensus is that the 'cracked' files are only those from the beta, no serial is supplied, and people are having major problems with parts of Photoshop - for example.
For me, better to stay legal and buy the real deal; Its just not worth the price of conconvienence of running dodgy exe files and all the problems that come with the territory.
Does anyone know when trial copies of CS3 for Windows will be available? I can't see any on the Adobe site.
CS2 was buggier than s---, heavy on resources, and just not enough "bang" for my buck. A had a lot of problems when using it, such as using Ctrl Alt Z to back to my last step. It wanted to change me back to the previous layer I was working on, forcing me to find the layer I was going to work on. That's one of many to start with anyway..
CS is very light, and I still use it currently. Sure, there are a few features of CS2 that I liked and wish CS had, but working with CS2 was an outright pain as opposed to working with CS. It's funny too because I liked all the other CS2 apps that came with the CS2 suite. Ah well.
CS3, or at least the beta anyway, felt lighter on my resources, and I had fun playing with a lot of features. I didn't get to do much work in it, but I don't recall having the same issues as I did with CS2. I'll be toying with the CS3 trial though, and I'll hopefully be able to answer that question better.
Adobe's site says demo products are normally available 6-8 weeks after release. So, basically, it'll be awhile.
Maybe I'll just get Web and Design Premium, and then get Production when it comes out.
Unfortunately, it isn't out yet, due to Premiere not being finished.
