MSI to ship over 800,000 OEM notebooks in 2007

Micro-Star International (MSI) is expected to ship over 800,000 OEM notebooks this year plus a substantial amount of its own Megabook-branded notebooks, according to company sources. To boost the sales of its own-brand notebooks, the company recently launched a series of notebooks featuring the company's self-developed TDE (turbo drive engine) technology, said the sources, noting that the company also aims to become one of the world's top-10 notebook vendors within three years.

An interesting move, but I think they shouldve tried out desktops first, its harder to establish your brand name for laptops. None the less a computer manufacturer of any kind that actually makes its own parts (especially motherboards) is very good

MSI has been very very good to me. I like their products.

yeah but a very hard market to crack, i know i won't be buying any of them, personally i thnk toshiba rules the laptop roost adn would not waste money on anythign less
