Over the past few months Dell has been gearing up to replace perhaps thousands of motherboards in XPS 700 and 710 systems for free; finally the program has been kicked off. All customers who opt to participate will receive an XPS 720 Hardware kit by mail along with the option of an on-site service installation. If you own an XPS 700 you also have the option to upgrade your CPU to a Quad Processor for a 25% discount. Act fast! All upgrade requests must be submitted no later than midnight CST, October 13, 2007.
