Office Live Store Manager is currently in private beta with a few of our select small business customers and one of the first implementations has emerged on the web from Larouex Gourmet Foods. They make fine tasting food products and are based in Washington State in the US and I paid a visit to their online store where they have some sauces and meats available to buy.

The store manager portion of Office Live enables this small business to have an online store tightly incorporated within their website with the minimum of fuss. Prior to this they had integration with Paypal and had some complicated ASP pages to get around the problem of selling online - hardly something a small business wants to be doing! This encapsulates what Microsoft is trying to achieve with Office Live: a one-stop-shop for all online activities for small business following the mantra of easy to use.

Interesting service to be marketed under the "Office" branding. Would consider it for my small business in the future rather than relying on a full-time employee to maintain a custom system of my own.

Could the name get any longer? Sheesh.
