Very good and interesting podcast, I might say. Kept me listening from start to end.
#8 vetbangbang023 on 11 Oct 2007 - 21:52
Thanks guys. I secretly announced this on my blog a few days ago, but obviously no one from Neowin reads it lol. We were a little rough around the edges, IMO, but for the first show in 6 months, that's to be expected. We're currently working on getting the flash player working and getting a feed created and submitted to iTunes.

I thought this podcast was amazing, it was great and I agree with others saying keeping them listening because it kept me listening to the end and its weird to hear voices to the members
#14 morgs on 12 Oct 2007 - 02:52
Great job guys!!! Its fantastic to put a voice to the text! You guys were great to listen to. I had it playing while the gf and I were doing the dishes, I wouldn't let her talk the whole show!
#15 Kreuger on 12 Oct 2007 - 03:01

The RIAA are not my friends, never make that assumption. The RIAA disgusts me. And its not about legality and piracy. They are just disgusting people who are attempting to ruin a good thing by controlling it.

otherwise, a fun enjoyable podcast. Highly informative!

I'm only 7 mins in so far, but good work (Y)

(by the way, 'meme' rhymes with 'gene' )
#21.1 Rob on 12 Oct 2007 - 14:08
Heh yeah, after I said it I realised it was wrong but to overdub it in the editing process would be so obvious so I figured I'd just write it off as a human error :p

Glad your bag lol, its been a while. Havn't had chance to listen yet, but is the voicemail number normal charge (for UK calls from a BT landline?) Cheers

For the lady that got sued and owes all that money... the point isn't that she's an idiot because she shouldn't have put herself in that position since she didn't have money... I think the point is, should you need money in order to stake a claim in a court? If she's wrong, she's going to have to pay damages, I get that. But the punishment should fit the crime. Did she make any money off the songs? Were the people who pirated the songs going to go out and actually buy those CDs, or did they download it, listen to it and decide they didn't like it? Did they even have the money to buy it in the first place? If I were a music company I'd send out tons of people to start downloading our songs so they could say in court "Oh, 1000 people downloaded it, so give us 1000x? bucks."
