First, number one Zune fan Steven Smith got a Zune tattoo on his arm. Then, he went and got a second Zune tattoo on the other arm, and a few months later picked up a third tattoo opposite the first one on his back. Rather than continue to make his body a canvas for promoting the Zune, he’s actually found a way to take this further.
Three tattoos later, what's a man to do? Change your name to "Microsoft Zune," natch. The initial legal consensus seems to believe that the name change is possible under trademark laws just as long as the individual is not benefiting from it or doing harm to the company in any way. Guilty on both accounts we're afraid.

We have a winner!
They can home him in his own private room, with the soft bouncy walls and a box of crayons, and no Zune.
he's going to go around introducing himself like this: "hi, my name is Microsoft Zune"?
no one will ever take him seriosuly
Microsoft must be paying him a large sum of money to act this stupid

I'd actually never heard of Zune tattoo guy.
Maybe I don't lurk enough.
Hrm..
But I've seen far far worse. Flip through this book next time you get a chance:

Right on the forehead. Now I can't wait until MS discontinues the Zune.
Either way it's pretty stupid
Think about it for a moment. If you were Microsoft and wanted to identify someone who would positively brand your product, would you choose him?
I think this is just a hardcore fan.
Prime candidate for a darwin award sometime in the future.
