- I was very optimistic on Silverlight, I really like how it works and for a few months I played with SDK. But it won't be adopted with majority of people. No one is going to choose it for this reason. Almost every developer know that Flash is in their product's users machines. It would take several years for Silverlight to get the same level as Flash and after that it still doesn't support Linux which already have big market share.

The Mono project is working on a Silverlight implementation for Linux. -

silverlight included in .net framework = massive deployement within a few years

- wow, web implemented crap from the peeps who brougt us Windows ME and Windows Vista, Ummm I really don't think so... No being into any part of my web start up as I do want any part of MY business tied in relation to any MS product on level. Kiss it MS.
