Microsoft has released a new connect beta site (Build 3.00.00.0125) for its beta testers to try out. The software giant based the changes around user feedback and promises there are more changes to come. The first major change is the look of the site: the old blue has been replaced with new graphics all over. Secondly, the sign-in process has been made easier and improved, for both experts and new testers. “My Participation” has been replaced with “Your Dashboard”: a page that includes the user’s connections, activity, watchlist, discussions, bugs, suggestions and so on. “Available Connections” has been replaced with “Connection Directory”, which now has categories and filters for making it easier to find beta software that the user is interested in testing. As with any beta software, there are already known issues, so make sure to check them out before you submit a bug or a suggestion.
