- Pretty much any new Microsoft online thing is going to be about Silverlight. They want it to do well, and it's a pretty cool technology.

The comment about Silverlight seems like editorial opinion and should be labeled that. It's not part of the news about the Zune. Other than that it's fine.
EDIT: That's fine now to me. It's separate.

- At least in the US, the Zune is gaining in popularity. After christmas this year, I saw a lot of iPods still on the shelf but Zune was sold out all over town. Could have just been that Apple produced more...

I also find it interesting how all in-browser Channel 10 videos are now only available if you have Silverlight installed. Looks like my question has been partially answered.
