Microsoft isn't the only one planning to push its MP3 player for Valentine's Day; Apple has brought pink to the iPod nano - available immediately in an 8GB model for $199. As expected, everything else is the same as all 3rd generation iPod Nanos: 320-by-240-resolution two-inch display, Cover Flow, reportedly 24 hours of audio playback or five hours of video playback, and so on, all encased in a 6.5 mm thin all-metal design made with anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel. In case you’ve forgotten, the 8GB model is also available in silver, black, blue, green and a (PRODUCT) RED special edition. The 4GB model is still only available in silver. All iPod nano models include earbud headphones, a USB to 30-pin cable and a Universal Dock Connector.

Customers are going to love the gorgeous new pink iPod nano. The pink iPod nano is perfect for people who want a great new color this spring, or who are searching for a special Valentine’s Day gift,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing.

Well, it could be just me, but 200 dollars, translated into English Pounds doesn't really seem that too much, you'll spend half of that on just a good night out.
