Google announced a series of security products today that are based on technology from their acquisition of Postini (Postini, Inc. is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Google Inc.)
The security suite is part of "Google Apps" which now offers Message Filtering, Message Security and Message Discovery services to business, schools and non-profit organizations. Prices range from $3 per user per year to $25 per user per year.
Of course, Neowin users are probably more interested to know if any of this newly enhanced spam protection from Postini will be integrated into Gmail.

Its like Microsoft branding its Live products like Windows Live messenger, windows live spaces (except xbox, zune)
I will give 100 to Apple for the product names!...(but now even the 'i' branding is too much..Macbook Air stopped it, i thought it would be iBook :-)
Wait....isnt spam filtering a free service? (i get the junk mail block updates in outlook & windows mail)...
While it would be nice if all the spam filtering is free, I can see why they might want to charge considering server side spam filtering can use a fair bit of processing power particularly if you get a lot of email
And BTW: at least they're not calling it Googlini!
