Windows 7 reaches build 7047

Neowin reported last week that Windows 7 RC is set for April 10, 2009 and we also highlighted what Sinofsky had mentioned regarding the RC release

"recently we've seen people talk about 'RC Builds' and the like. First, all builds since the beta are RC builds since by definition that is the next milestone. But by far the most humorous element has been that the build numbers blogged about are higher than our current build. Today's build is 7046, but it hasn't completed yet :-)"

On February 21, it was build 7046. And today we have a tweet which confirms that Microsoft is indeed progressing with their builds and latest would be build 7047, according to this tweet from a Technical marketing guy in Microsoft

There you go! Windows 7 build 7047 is ready (internally) and who knows, build 7048 might be in progress!
