Today Microsoft announced that they have signed a deal with NBC Universal to allow their movies to be distributed through Xbox Live Marketplace in Europe. David Gosen from Xbox Europe commented on how this will be a major addition to an already popular entertainment center for gamers and non gamers alike, "This agreement makes the Xbox Live film offering bigger and better than ever. For Xbox, we want to ensure that we have the best entertainment content available - Xbox Live has grown into one of Europe's largest providers of on-demand high-definition movies and we'll continue to grow the content offered through the service"

Over the next few weeks users of the Marketplace in UK, France, Germany and Spain will see many new titles arrive and here are some of the titles:

Can't you use the Normal Netflix on a 360? The unlimited plan does streaming according to the website.

This is good I guess, Australia has been left in the cold again though (as usual)

International support is good. I didn't think NBC would ever do that. Hopefully other networks take suit.

As said earlier

The video Marketplace in Europe is a joke. All i ever got from there was "The Guild" and... oh wait, there is nothing else there.
Unless you live in the big countries all you get are some game trailers.
