BlackBerry App World previously called BlackBerry Application Center by BlackBerry is ready to be launched soon in US, Canada and UK. BlackBerry users can now register for the Blackberry App World and get notified when the App World goes live, the new application store where they can find applications designed for their BlackBerry smartphones. BlackBerry promises to offer a wide range of applications such as games, social networks, stock market trackers, personal productivity applications etc.

BlackBerry smartphones with OS versions 4.2 or higher with trackballs or SurePress touch screen can be used with App World. A PayPal account has to be set up to download BlackBerry App World application (initially) and also to download applications from the App World. PayPal will be offering mobile payment services on a larger scale with this deal.

Developers can submit their application to the BlackBerry App Store now and applications can be priced based on the following chart.
