Samsung today announced its new EcoGreen F2EG hard disk that delivers a massive 1.5TB of capacity with 500GB per disk. With increased recording density and reduced number of disks, the EcoGreen F2 drive is more power efficient by supporting a capacity up to 1.5TB with 3 disks. As hard disk capacity increases from an increased number of disks, so does power consumption. However, Samsungs F2EG drive offers low power consumption by using EcoTriangle, a low-power, low-heat, low-noise operation technology. With its advanced design and fewer components, the F2EG drive is 40% lower in power consumption in idle mode and 45% lower in reading/writing mode than competitive drives.

Why would you want to replace a 1.5 TB drive with a 500 GB drive? ;-)
Mostly music! (RAP, yeah that's right, chris.)
Good for you then. I wouldn't have a problem with free space if I didn't play so many games and watch a lot of videos and have a fairly big music collection. My music is just over 30GB, and it takes over a quarter of my 120GB laptop. Thankfully, when I'm not on the move, I've got my PC back up and running with it's mega 1TB hard drive!
i have 150gb and 1gb left
if u have vista
then try removing hibernation files
and system restore junk :p
This will free up sum space say 1 gb or more
is ur coputer used as a server ? :p
bt what abt its speed ?
7200 RPms ?
What you described isn't "green" it's just regressive. Going "green" is about using modern technology without having a huge environmental impact.
If anyone wants to live the Amish life, great, go for it, but don't mix the two, they are not the same thing.
