AT&T once again loves Hulu, retracts new TOS

AT&T has decided that once again it loves Hulu, Slingbox and other streaming media as it has removed the update from its TOS that Neowin reported last week.

In a statement released by AT&T they state "The language added on March 30 to AT&T's wireless data service Terms and Conditions was done in error. It was brought to our attention and we have since removed it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

It will never be known if this was a true error or if the fact that they got caught was the reason for removing the new language. It doesn't really matter the reasoning; if your on AT&T wireless you can use your Slingbox without fear once again.

i think someone stumbled upon some revised TOS, decided to post it for all to see... probably out of a job now too, we should take note as to what AT&T had in mind for us all

Why does everybody think everything leads to getting fired?

I just wish Hulu would trash their "If you're not in the USA, no video for you!" policy. I hate being treated like a non-entity just because I'm in Canada.

i think its more CTV / Comedy Network at fault than it is Hulu as those companies have the rights to air in canada... copyright is entirely too complicated
