It seems there's been lots of twitter related rumors flying around lately. First we heard Google may buy Twitter. Now it seems Twitter's founders are teasing us about something.
Something's afoot at Twitter. Well, something's always afoot at Twitter, but this time the founders are leaving everyone hanging by Twittering about it.

CEO and co-founder Evan Williams posted to his Twitter account on Thursday morning: "Tomorrow just became a very big day. (Sorry for the teaser--more later.)" Ooh! Fascinating!
Of course what happens is anyone's guess, and only time will tell. What do you think?

The term is "couldn't care less" mate.

Could you? Could you really care less? Because I couldn't.

Or so the saying go's. I actually like Twitter, so I'm interested to know what this is all about.

it seems "couldn't care less" has been broken by American English. The whole point of the statement is that you really don't care, not that you do care and could care less. I see this misuse so many times on forums, it seems it's been adopted by the masses as default

Haha yes. I am in Australia, and always hear Americans saying "I could care less" ....the point is that you could NOT care less. It's funny.

could not careless or couldn't careless would be a double negative, wouldn't it? Where as "could careless" would make more sense.

No, it wouldn't be a double negative, because "less" is not "negative". If you say "I could care less" then it means you can care less about something. If you could NOT care less, then your care level is at it's lowest. I can't believe how stupid you are LOL.

people who say this really haven't grasped the concept. If you had, you'd never have said that. The concept is here to stay, twitter on the otherhand might not be.

According to the same guy:
"Yes, the "big day" tomorrow is due to @Oprah. Catch @aplusk on the show (and follow him if you don't already!) Oh: I'll be there too! "

So basically just Ashton Kutcher's appearance on Oprah ref his 1 million followers. *yawn*

You don't have to follow people that tweet like that. There are countless other people/sites/company's to follow.

Peoples ignorance/dismissal of twitter really gets on my nerves.

Actually there are all too many like that. Even the "interesting" ones are only occasionally interesting.

The only good news would be that Twitter wouldn't generate any news stories ever again!
