Barely two weeks after build 7127 leaked we have another fresh leak of Windows 7, build 7137.This time around the build tag is 7137.0.090521-1745 meaning this build is only a week old. As ever the build is available at the usual places but it might be worth waiting until RTM as a lot of Windows 7 torrents have been hit by malware and viruses recently.
Microsoft is still on target to finalise Windows 7 over the summer with a general availability this fall. Personally I have given up on the idea of a plumber.

Un-official wallpaper not included by default, thanks to djlegion for the screenshots.

I am not the one who made it was just passed on to me...
are you sure? it looks exactly the same to me
Look at the font of the Windows 7 in the lower right hand corner, as well as the style of the orb. It's definitely different.
Anyone have it?
That's what I also thought; free publicity.
Although these weekly leaks seem a little too eye-catching.

Often from zukona/sukonka, it seems, although there are others too. She leaked 7068, 7100, 7137, maybe even more? I think she's Russian and have obvious connections with someone in a TAP partner program or other close ties to someone at MS as she use to post build numbers at her leisure too, for builds that doesn't leak.
now i heard somewhere that they are adding a nifty little UI element to the icons in superbar that on hover they would expand slightly....is it true?
But you never know ,what MS are cooking up there

Blimey how many apps do you have open at once?? :|
Well it does indeed do something like that, it depends on how many applications you have pinned to the superbar though, check out the video I made a while ago to see what I mean:

The build in the video is of an older build though.

He has five (as evidenced by the "halo" or "button" effect around the icons). You were thinking 16, weren't you?
you could always set it like that, that's the small icons mode
But setting the icons to small looks fugly. I want to keep the large icons and also the start button a little higher than the taskbar. It just feels right.

smaller the better imo, there is far too much wasted space in windows 7
Why? It wasn't even funny the first time and just got worse with any repetition.
I believe that is in place to protect you. Obviously the test versions arent believe to be as stable.
Nope...just change the icons to small and that is how it will look.
+1. Also, how long do these leaks last for? As long as the RC?
It's amazing how, though our workspace has quadrupled, people can still be so monstrously offended by a few pixels here and there, shaking their fists at taskbar and window borders alike, and nerdgasming over silly things like Chrome's title bar.
I don't see where anyone said the RC is faster than unofficial leaks. Someone did say they aren't as stable. There's a difference. The leaks can be just as fast or faster than the RC.
Should you run off to install every leak? No. But the leaks are moving forward past the RC, so chances are it's just as stable/fast as the RC or more so. Of course, this isn't always true either.
I wish they would stop making Windows look like a DVD menu background.

When you install the final version of Windows 7, you'll need to do a clean installation. So plan on backing up your data then reinstalling your applications and restoring your data.
