First they will ask you what OS you are currently running and they will 'make' you run the Win7 upgrade advisor to confirm that you can upgrade to win7.
Then they ask you what you will be willing to do: throw a party, invite at least 10 people, use the website to send invites, take pics, fill a survey after the event, etc
Then they make you sign some "we own your life" terms ala facebook old privacy policy. It also says that it is up to you to serve alcohol and that minors shouldn't drink it
nah, it says that you use the website to make the invites and send them out (via email I assume). they ask you if you are willing to invite at least 10 people. it's a house party not a free for all one
Linux One:
Funny how theyre all covering their genitals.... I think it's cuz they know All us Windows fanatics want to rip them apart :p
Linux One:
Oh man that is so epicsauce
Right...and what are mac fans going to do with them? Style their hair? Help them pick out outfits? =P
Linux One:
LMAO That's funny.
Host a Linux launch party, get a case of eczema and a half-eaten bag of Cheetos.
LMFAO
Or... They have already been helped with the outfits...
also just to say that I visit neowin 2 hours ago and that was just 1 minute after this article was released and I went straight there to signup but haven't done it yet

See my post below. It is not a Microsoft site. You can take my tinfoil hat, stuff it, and see if the reflection shines light where light isnt suppose to reach
It is not a microsoft site, but in the terms you agree, you agree that microsoft is getting the rights / data
Or spam you with mails. or find out personal information about you.
Like I said: You can take my tinfoil hat, stuff it, and see if the reflection shines light where light isnt suppose to reach...
Nope, but you problably get better reception of the world than being inside 4 walls all day being on Neowin
My mind is still reeling as I wonder what party favors might be included...
That said, God help me, I've applied.
That said, God help me, I've applied.
See my reply to the post above.
So why even allow other countries to sign up then??
I mean...geez...I can get 4 people from work to sit at a table with me and have a picture taken and there ya go...instant party.
LOL, indeed, but it's free publicity for Microsoft. Outsourcing ad agencies, you know.
'Pirates' have had a cracked version of Win7 Ultimate for several weeks now.
but this is signed by bill gatez¡¡¡ besides, I can always ransack LIDL to get cheap pizzas. and they actually send some 'party pack' to your house, though I have no idea what comes inside
Where do you get the idea that you have to invite strangers??
From what I can see, there is not one mention of MICROSOFT anywhere, it even says SPONSERED BY HouseParty.

what I had to 'agree with' at the end was giving my life to microsoft, and not to houseparty. something like "microsoft will OWN each and every thing you submit about this party"
they showed them to me before the last step.
When you click on Canada, French is listed as Françes (which doesn't mean anything) instead of Français... god, what kind of quality control do they have
(just kidding - it could spread to Texas!)
Take a picture of yourself...then just Photoshop a black guy, an asian guy and a white girl in the picture.

I''m going all out. Imma buy green, blue and 'black' drink stuff to mix with vodka and offer home premium, professional and ultimate cocktails. imma hook up the laptop to the TV and use windows media center (although the music will come from spotify running in the background)
AWESOMETIMES¡¡¡
You must have found the wrong party because the Snow Leopard party was already posted above.
throw some Apples and Penguins at the guests, shoot them with Paint balls...
Ha we will have lacohol, LAN plays of....(hmm one of us will have to agree guys I ain't playing Counter Strike, and you know you all get your arse whooped in Halo)
Hold on my friends don't use this site hahaha
Suffice to say there will be computers, music, females, males, alcohol and food generally at our parties there's a laptop or 4 being passed about anyway
