Excellent video player. Been using it a long time.
Although I don't see how people say it's getting better and better, as I install every version and nightly available and I haven't noticed any changes since I started using it.

Does anyone know how you change the thumbnail icon view to show the individual video formats?

On my old Windows 7 laptop MPC displayed them, but since I bought my new Windows 8.1 64bit laptop all the icons show 321. instead of mp4, mkv, wmv and so on.

Excellent media player. Keeps getting better.
The Black edition, however, trails behind version wise.
Not that that is a problem.
