Development on a freeware Stargate: SG1 game has been ceased as MGM Studios issued a cease and desist order. The team of gamers that has been working on the game for three years using the Torque engine explained there is little they can do. An obviously frustrated team-member guessed MGM replied to their numerous e-mails only now to protect a rumored official Stargate game.
