Microsoft confirms Windows 10 build 10130 will be released to Slow ring; expect ISOs too

Last Friday, Microsoft delivered its latest Windows 10 Insider Preview, build 10130, to testers enrolled on the Fast ring for new releases. This newest build introduced a range of improvements to the OS, but it also rolled out with various known issues, along with a few that the company hadn't anticipated.

Microsoft has since released patches for build 10130 to deal with a couple of problems, but as Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insiders program, said today, the company is still focusing on one more fix in that build in particular.

He didn't say exactly what it is that needs to be fixed, but once that issue is resolved, build 10130 will be released to the Windows Insiders Slow ring. It should also be accompanied by the arrival of ISOs for build 10130 - good news, given that the last ISOs to be released were for build 10074 at the end of April.

If you haven't yet installed 10130, but you'd like to see some of what it has to offer, check out our image gallery of the newest build.
