Microsoft ends the year with a bonanza of sales

For Microsoft, this year was fairly special, as it coincided with the huge release of Windows 10 across multiple platforms. The year also saw Microsoft regaining its composure among the tech crowd and, dare I say, once again exciting the world with its products. To celebrate these, and other, achievements in the year, the company is offering a series of deals and discounts of up to 50% on the Store.

Among the many discounted offerings, you'll find the likes of popular games such as GTA: San Andreas, Lara Croft GO and Minecraft: Story Mode. Not wanting to forget audiophiles and movie-lovers, the company is also offering Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, among others. The first season of AMC's critically acclaimed Better Call Saul is also available on the cheap for those who haven't been able to follow the adventures of the beleaguered Saul Goodman.

These, and other great deals, will be available later today till the last day of the year. They will also be helpfully marked by the sale tag. Unfortunately, though, some of them are earmarked for only specific regions and, so, may be unavailable depending on your location.

Microsoft has, indeed, a lot to celebrate this year, especially with regards to the Store, as it has just reached a milestone of over 2.5 billion visits since the launch of Windows 10. Sharing that success with their fans is bound to increase that number even further.

And, with that, happy shopping and happy holidays!
