Microsoft getting ready for Windows 7 marketing?

Microsoft sure has been hitting hard at the competition lately with their latest round of "Laptop Hunters" ads with success, and now as we get closer towards the final version of Windows 7, it looks like Microsoft is preparing the latest "I'm a PC" marketing featuring Windows 7.

This photo of the sticker was first revealed by our own Neowin reporter Tom Warren, and while Windows 7 hasn't been featured in the TV ads yet, I suspect it will soon appear in the next few months. Box art and pricing for Windows 7 has also yet to be revealed, but when they are, we'll be sure to share them, so stay tuned.

HA! hahahahahaHA! Yet another one of Window's many attempts. Oh am I an infiltrator or WHAT?! And why waste your money? Have fun virus-software shopping! :-)

Perfect for covering up the Apple logo on all the Macs proudly running BootCamp... Or Parallels... Or VMWare...

wow that's a little harsh there! i've seen a picture of an apple sticker covering up a Dell... at the Mac Keynote conference. Well, at least they TRIED to sneak an outsider in. It was creatively humourous.

Am I the only person in the world who is completely immune to advertising? Who cares? Actually when you drop the emotional argument it could be argued that Microsoft cares, their shareholders care, the staff care, suppliers care and ultimately the user cares as they rely on a healthy company for a good product. I happen to think that Microsoft delivers good product, though with me, a single line in Times Roman on Neowin will suffice when Windows 7 is ready!
Er, I've just woken up....

No, because you're not immune.

I went on to say that. I should have waited until my mind was clear though. I had just woken up early in order to read an eMail.

IT WOULD LOOK A LOT BETTER IF IT WASN'T CREATED ON A PC WHICH HAD THE CAPS-LOCK KEY STUCK.
STUFF WRITTEN IN ALL-CAPS JUST LOOKS REALLY UGLY, AS YOU CAN SEE ON THIS POST.

They really should scrap this and do a version with proper upper/lower case:

I'm a PC
and I run Windows® 7

While forum posts and other typed things do not always look good in capital letters, I love the font on these stickers, so I'm inclined to disagree.

I'd have to wait to see one with proper uppercase/lower case type before I know for certain which would look better though

Yeah this is just a stupid opinion of yours, lots of logos and slogans have caps letters, but it is very different from typing regular things like posts, unless you are making your everyday typed things into beautiful photoshopped fonts on beautiful images, your so wrong.

You're clearly a Mac fanboy - right?
