Microsoft launches 'Extreme Windows Blog'

Is your RSS aggregator looking a little dull? Do you think a sprinkling of ‘extreme’ might make it more exciting? Then this new blog may be for you. According to the Windows Team Blog (which includes blogs for a variety of Windows related products), the new ‘Extreme Windows Blog’ will cater to the advanced user, power user, and PC enthusiast. However, after reading the description it quickly becomes apparent that the blog is actually targeted at those users in limbo between average and advanced users.

Although the first post is simply an introduction to the blog, the blog looks interesting and promises to explore advanced features of software like Windows Media Center, show off new ‘really cool’ hardware, give instruction on PC upgrades, along with ‘geeked out’ tips and tricks. The blog will also allow for community and MVP contribution. So, if you’re not a PC expert and have lots of questions (which means you’re probably an active thread-starter on Neowin’s fantastic community forums), you should definitely keep an eye on this blog in the future.
