Microsoft makes keeping tabs of Cortana's new features, easier

Microsoft is constantly updating Cortana and we have seen a number of updates go out during the past few weeks. If you are like us and find it hard to figure out what is new and what has been around for some time, Microsoft has a new resource that should help out.

If you hit the source link below, Microsoft has put together a new page that highlights the updated functionality of Cortana. Considering that the company committed to pushing out updates twice a month, there have been a number of additions to the platform which makes this page quite handy.

Beyond predicting NFL games and defining words, Cortana can help you with your fitness. According to the new site, if you "What is a crunch", she will tell you what the activity is and there are also updates to Cortana's notebook too.

New interests in Cortana's Notebook. There are some new interests that you can add in Cortana's Notebook. Local apps helps you get app suggestions for events happening around you, and Best nearby gives you recommendations about restaurants, places to shop, and other spots near you based on Foursquare popularity—this will work even if you're not signed in to Foursquare. You can add these interests by going to Cortana > Cortana's Notebook  [Cortana's Notebook icon]  >Interests > Add  [Add icon]  > Discover, and then tapping the interest you want to add.

We will keep an eye on the page to see what new functionality gets added to the digital assistant but if you come across any items that are not documented, make sure to send us a tip.
